    So I took:
    aticfx32.dl_
    atidxx32.dl_
    aticfx64.dl_
    atidxx64.dl_
    atioglxx.dl_
from 12.1 (which was working) and expanded them using CMD to expanded dll files so atidxx32.dl_ became atidxx32.dll etc.
I uploaded everthing to the root Skyrim folder.

But it doesn't work, am I doing it wrong?

If I recall correctly, this ONLY works for the Open GL file.
For the other files, you have to copy them to the windows system32 or syswow64 (or whatever) folder, after renaming the previous ones (just in case you break your OS or something).

Most system files are hooked when windows loads, although I don't know what applies for W7....at least that's how it was in XP (the only files I usually mismatched were ati3duag.dll and atioglxx).

Ah, finally got it to work. Apparently I lacked the atiumdag.dll file.

atiumdag is the universal dx driver, so that one is nessisary...

so for the record, which files did you end up copying into the skyrim directory?

I'm not sure you need all those you listed, you might want to delete them one by one and see which ones break it.

Particularily the atiogl (skyrim is not ogl) and the aticfx (crossfire) files

Theoretically you should only need the atidxx32 or 64 wichever for your bitness, and the atiumdag files

I just ended up copying them all, too tired now to restart Skyrim anymore. But anyways thank you for your help, greatly appreciate it.
And yes dxx32.dll (as Skyrim is using a 32 bit client) and atiumdag.dll should theoreticly do the trick. Will perhaps try without the other files tomorrow.

Why is this 12.3 RC when twitter says this should be 12.2 pre-cert?

    Totally agree...

They leave HD7900 owners standing in the cold.

The 12.3 drivers absolutely suck in Skyrim, so I went back to the 11 RC's.

I wish the GTX6x0 series where here. :moon:

    thank you checkov...lol

if you throw in the atidxx it should take care of that

the atiumdag is like all the normal stuff, the adidxx is supposed to be AMDs special stuff...

After I installed these the Zerocore stuff worked correctly (finally) then after a while it stopped working (using MSI Afterburner purely for monitoring and fan control, overclock via CCC.) RAGE is pretty much unplayable with these drivers, at least in the previous ones the performance would slowly degrade as I played it until the game crashed after about 10 -15 minutes. I was considering waiting for Kepler, but I went with AMD again.

Why? I'm a ****ing moron, obviously.

Boo! AMD Drivers!! All the 12 series drivers suck and kill overclocking.
What's with all the extra AMD crap that runs in the background with these 12 series drivers?

I will be selling my 6990 H20 and my 6970 as soon as Nvidia releases it's next GPU.

Time to switch back to the Green Team.
    Bring back 3DFX :•)

Alan Wake is a real pain for SLI rigs. It's not so good for PC gaming.

Yes we know nvidia is butt now. But to be fair ATI/AMD, what ever the company wants to be called, has always been life times ahead of nvidia. ATI/AMD has been around longer too hasn't it? Remember the old 90s commercial with the monkey?!?!?! AMD/ATI has monkeys, nvidia needs to be afraid.

I know right? I'd hate to add onto the unrelated posts, but this is a bit ridiculous...

Why do people go on a beta driver thread, and talk about nvidia is beyond me... That would be like me going on a feedback thread on a beta test of a game, and talking about a brand new car to be released in a few days (the point here being it doesn't make any sense at all)

Now for some actual on-topicness; these drivers installed nicely, and I notice nothing really "different" in terms of performance and quality of games. I haven't played Skyrim or BF3, so I can't give feedback on those.

In any case though, I notice no significant problems with these drivers on my 5570

I think he was just countering the two other posts in this thread (One on this page even) where somebody said they were going back too Nvidia from AMD "Cause Nvidia has no problems" etc

So he posted just a few examples he got off the front page of Nvidia forums of people having tons of problems with Nvidia drivers to show they were just as bad off as AMD, no better, no worse
