Dota 2 crashes for me a good bit more then it has on any other driver.

In the past, I would always overclock my GPU to 875Mhz on both memory and core clock on my 5570 using software (such as Trixx, Afterburner, or Catalyst).

Currently, I use a modified VBIOS with the core/mem clock already set at 875Mhz though (in other words, I don't need to overclock with software anymore).

Not entirely sure if this would have anything to do with Dota 2 crashing more often or not though (especially since I played it before with the same clock speeds)

Does this support Mobility Radeon 5650?

Has anyone tried the 8.96 with 3x 7970's?

I am having hell getting these cards to play any games. :(

    With using DXVA?
Not really performance 'improvements' per say, since DXVA simply puts the GPU to work on decoding the video instead of the CPU.

But it does in turn freeing up CPU resources for other applications, so while it doesn't necessarily improve on the decoding performance itself, it prevents your media player from hogging the CPU.
Pretty useful for me who compiles some big projects with Visual Studio and want to watch some videos while waiting for them to finish compiling.
