The Adobe Flash clock bug is back with these drivers. If hardware acceleration is enabled in Flash and I have a browser window open to say Youtube, my clocks get stuck at 501mhz.

Not a bug, flash uses the UVD if you have enabled hardware acceleration.

Ahh it's bug. We've seen this behavior before in past drivers and it has been fixed by new drivers. Whatever program(game) I have active in full screen is what should be determining the clock rate not a paused video in the background.

Flash uses UVD as was already mentioned. Your card won't run 3D clocks just to watch a video.

Wrong as wrong can be. The UVD has a clockspeed of 501 (depending on card as some have different lower values) and it isn't designed to go any faster. So when it is in use the GPU won't go any higher regardless of what else you are doing in the system. If you want full speed then disable hardware acceleration.

Since I installed these drivers, my scrolling on internet browsers has seemed jerky. Has anyone else experienced this?

Those artifacts look just like what In get in Skyrim if any kind of AA is used other than the built in FXAA. (I think they improved the FXAA though since it looks a lot better than it did when I first installed the game.)

I would suggest changing your AA mode to multi sample AA and see what happens. Also turn off Surface optimizations under the Catalyst AI and see if that helps

This. To see proof, simple get an OSD program (MSI Afterburner), open a game, your clock speeds should be maxed. Minimize it and open a flash movie somewhere (with hardware acceleration on flash enabled), and restore the game. Clock speeds should be lower.

Yeah, but what's most irritating is that the clocks seem to get locked even when closing down everything...Seems as if a reboot is the only way to reset to normal

Is this the same as 12.2preview? If so no need for me to switch.

How is it the official version has a broken CCC? My CCC crashes on the first time its started, and GPUz cannot read the clocks properly.

    THIS DRIVER FIXES BF3.

No more hang ups, no more fps drops to abnormally low numbers. Im getting 40 - 60 and mostly 50 - 60fps on ultra with no AA and blur off. Blur causes no less FPS though.

    Crysis 2 49 42 56

    FEAR 3 77 75 84

    COD MW2 57 49 69

    SF4 AE 79 79 96

and few of them More . .

But there is only one Problem... :::

That GPUZ is not showing the extra features that are Enabled . .

nither OPEN CL nor DIRECT COMPUTE. . :(

OpenCL is getting installed perfectly.. no errors.. and i also have the ati_stream,, and ati aap SDK is also installed in my Machine but.. GPUZ is not showing these features turned ON . .

Actually spyre, I'm surprised that you don't know this, but it's a bug, admitted by AMD themselves.

It wasn't fixed in 4000 series nor the 5000 series but 6000 and above should have it fixed. The bug is that clocks are locked to UVD clocks, hindering your in-game performance. I fixed it by flashing a custom bios that sets my graphics card to its 3D clock when UVD is up.

Anyway, relevant thread is at hardforums at the following link.

    http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1559534&highlight=bug

Check number 2. I thought spyre is AMD's bug tester.
