Here it's OK.
I found it only because I was weird that there is new CAP but no drivers

 

I fixed it by disabling cores 1,3,5,7 for the game, too lazy to disable the HyperThreading in the bios.

Yeah i know, like i said some posts above only a mod can "update" the title, with my edit it doesn't update.

 

I installed them but when I reboot, there's no drivers installed... :3eyes:

12.11 b11 + 12.11cap2

still unplayable far cry 3 with any MSAA stutters as hell...!!!

90-100 fps with ultra + HDAO + 0xAA...but...no AA...weak

 

Too bad they didn't address the crappy performance of Assassin's Creed 3, i've drops to 30 FPS with a 7970 @ 1250/1700.

 

Yeah, but honestly I think the solution lies more on the game code than on the driver code.

 

Probably, if you compare it with Hitman Absolution which is a game that looks much better and its well optimized AC3 shouldn't perform like this...

Lets wait and see but i don't think Ubisoft will do anything.

 

Issue with AMD Drivers/Should i Try 12.11 Beta

Hi All

Having issue with my ATI Drivers in Windows 8 Pro 64 bit? Some reason my Catalyst Control Center shows only a few items, what is the best way to go about fixing this?

Disconnecting from Internet
Uninstalling from Add/Remove Programs under admin account
Removing From Device Manager
Rebooting to safe mode
Running Driver Fusion
Rebooting to Regular--and Reinstalling 12.11, restarting, then installing Cap

I just installed these in my Win 7 64-bit Ultimate box. I will let you all know how it goes!

 

FarCry 3's PostFX option is terrible, without it i get 40-60 average.
Only problem is no matter how options are set, frames drop to around 20 when i look up into the sky.
How weird.
Ill report back about these, am i the only one with a 5000 series :/
