Tried a fresh AB install, no dice, same issue. It locks the mem clock and ups the base core clock even without AB or OC'ing.

No problems here on Gigabyte 7950. Idle clocks ok & 3dmark11 go to 9300 points from 8400.

    Hey All

Long time lurker, first time poster. With said I am getting weird video corruption when using MSI afterburner with this release and 12.9 release.

I am running 6970's in Xfire. The moment I run MSi and set any OC via it, the video corruption starts.

Does anyone have a solution for this, or is this something afterburner has to repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Not seeing an overall FPS increase like the 7 series though :(

I can confirm this to the best of my knowledge.

Although my 3DMark 11 graphics score stayed the same from 12.9 to 12.10 to 12.11 on my A8-3500M APU (6620G)+6750M combo, my physics score went up over 25%! Nobody thought about them improving GPGPU performance for the non-GCN cards. ;)

EDIT: I'm also not experiencing any issues with any of these drivers. I have never had a single issue with an AMD driver, and I've been using them since I owned my ol' X300 SE.

Awesome drivers, got an increase of 817 points in 3dmark, 9175 points now, very nice!

About the clocks didn't see it yet.

So I get corruption after a clean install of windows using either the 12.10 or the 12.11. I tried taking a screenshot but when I do the corruption is not in the screenshot. My display is blurry, with vertical/horizontal lines everywhere, also purplish tint. I'm wondering if my HDMI connection is the problem and these 2 drivers cause it to happen. Everything works fine on 12.8 and previous drivers. I'm on a Asus 5870, anyone else experiencing this issue or have seen this and know how to fix it. Thank you

Have you tried using something other than HDMI e.x. DVI?

Getting 100FPS+ on Caspian Border on BF3 @ Ultra Settings and High FXAA. AMD have done their homework this time.

Guys, am I the only one getting LESSER 3DMark 11 score? I got P6900 with my Alienware M17x R4 stock. P6600 with the 12.11 Beta1 drivers that came out earlier, although performance in BF3 improved! Now, with 12.11 Beta3, I get merely P6500. I know I shouldn't care about synthetic benchmarks, but I'm wondering if I'm the only one!?
    P.S. I last did a clean install of 12.11 Beta3. AMD Radeon 7970M.

Great drivers, BF3 is insane! MP 60man servers pulling in 120+fps only seen it dip to mid 70's once. Excellent drivers, only thing is I still get really bad performance in Crysis 2 with DX11, Hi res textures, everything Ultra @ 1080p even with or without vsync it feels really fast one moment then really slow the next even thou the fps is at 55fps lowest. Really annoying, not tested GTAIV yet as that was the only other game that had terrible crossfire scaling and gpu usage was around 20-30% each!

GTA 4 is horribly optimized anyway. Not much these drivers could do for a game that crappy from ground up.

    These are awesome...

    Witcher2 is mostly playable with ubersampling on a single 7970 @ 1000mhz

it was a choppy mess on 12.9

Problems . HD6870 GPU usage jumps to 98-99% and stays there no matter which game I play, sometimes goes down and jumps again . In Skyrim no matter if it's forest or small room GPU usage sky high

My 7970 is not idling properly on this driver. It idles 500/1400 instead of the usual idle which I dont even remember what it was. I think it was liek 100/250 or something.

on my 7850 PE, the desktop screen is flickering and artifacting at random during idle.

i wonder if i should used the 12.10 instead of this 12.11, haven't tried any games yet, i hope it wont have tons of flickering and artifacting.

Edit : i forgot to mention that i always does clean uninstalling, using driver sweeper.

I can now confirm that on my Asus 5870 that 12.10 and 12.11's mess up the hdmi connector on my vid card and corrupts my display. I connected via vga and dvi with no corruption. This sucks. I wonder if I change my bios to diff version if that will fix it?

It's a well known issue, read the last page, happening for my 6970 as well. I think it only effects reference cards.
