    Thread updated with BETA 6:

AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta6 resolves the issue with engine and memory clocks running too high when the GPU is idle. Clocks will now run at the proper level when the GPU is idle. This issue was only observed with specific displays and was observed in the AMD Catalyst 12.11Beta 4 and AMD Catalyst 12.10 drivers; The AMD Catalyst 12.11 Beta6 has replaced the AMD Catalyst 12.11Beta 4 driver that was posted Oct 23, 2012

Is the skyrim texture flickering issue been fixed with the 12.11 Beta 6 Drivers?

No. Still some flicker with my 7970 in known skyrim flicker locations.

Idle still bugged on my 5850. Sets clocks to 400/1000.

Setting memory to 995 (or anything below default) in overdrive fixes clocks to 157/300.

Also 2nd monitor still has random flickering (mostly horizontal lines) which makes secondary monitor pretty much useless for anything but full screen apps.

Poor quality video playback (loads of blocky artefacts) is still there for me in b6. There's no problem in 12.10.

Does Windows 8 need the net 4.0 support version? Both versions list win8. Thanks

Still dont seem to be strong performance increase in BF3 etc. But seem stable the B6 are.

I wonder if these will fix the desktop-flickering (that I could only solve by disabling Powerplay completely and run full-on at all times). Well, only one way to find out.

At first it looked good, but when I opened GPU-Z and moved around the window, it stuttered, the screen teared/flickered and some artifacts on the screen. Clocks were 300/150.

Back to running full speed OC/OV. Well, I guess I can create my own profiles, but there's def. something wrong with the powerstate handling in the drivers since I didn't have these issues with 12.7.

    Try this..

Enable the hidden Admin acct and log in as such. Then go to Programs and Features and choose the AMD express uninstall option. Uninstall any hardware monitors you may have as well. After the reboot go to the device manager and enable 'show hidden devices'. If you don't see any conflicts, namely the AODdriver 4.x, run the driver setup as admin and hopefully that fixes it.
