^That's normal for fallout/oblivion because of the way the engine uses the cpu. The 3d clocks are only in use while the gpu is in use. Most other games will stay in 3d clocks.

For unlocking the shaders I'd suggest using tpu's custom script and not rbe, the script unlocks your own bios so there's no other bios' involved. Aslong as your card's not a sapphire; I still have it so if you need it pm me.

Well done - Fallout NV actually. I've played it to death tho so maybe time to move on..

I was disappointed I couldn't unlock the shaders but the store has an ex demo 6970 for only $50 more I got them to hold it for me - just in case lol

If you have a custom card then I think you'll need rbe for the most, some models (msi tf2/3 iirc) do still unlock witht he custom script.

I have a Sapphire, and I tried WinFlash, RBE and even DOS, no luck..only higher clocks but no extra shaders.

I'll try the bat you linked anyway..

Edit:- Got error: Could not find byte sequence in file....?

Oh and only one of the two onboard bios' can be flashed so you'll need to make sure the switch is in the right position.

Edit: what's the model of your card?

edit 2: Also I think the original bios file needs to be dumped in *.bin format, gpu-z does that.

True. For example, the problem for me is the Windows 7. When I reinstall, all works perfectly. Screen flashing in Black Ops with CFX ON? Yep, but SLI on NVIDIA is very far to be perfect. The Witcher 2, for example, fixed SLI only after some patches and drivers.

Hard flickering on second monitor with this drivers while playing game.. didnt have that with 11.5

    Edit:
My mistake, flicker was because of MSI Afterburner 2.1. I reverted to 2.0 and all is working fine now.

Doesn't sound like he's got that much confidence in Nvidia tbh, as if he had, he would have switched to them and their perfect drivers straight away, not stuck with ATi for years having major probs with theirs ;)

    Fact according to who exactly?

Personally i have never had many issues with ATI drivers. All games work perfectly well.

See this is what I mean. Where is your proof?! What sort of answer is that?

It helps no one and contributes nothing. I should leave this thread as I feel thick people are thick.
