Heck, I even hide the update for WHQL AMD drivers on Windows Update, so it'd be roughly the same story with CCC's new update notification feature.

In any case, it's still a spiffy idea for people who don't frequent forums like this.

The chip that ships with the ati cards its a Realtek chip

    Try this:

Uninstall the current HDMI drivers and try this ones:

    ftp://209.222.7.36/pc/audio/HDMI_R255.exe
    or this mirror
    ftp://202.134.71.21//pc/audio/HDMI_R255.exe
If you can't download from those links
    Try from here
    http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

So do you guys here love the problem you have with Amd? Gpu , mouse corner bug, longer loading time , etc.... ?

I guess you guys admire the speed they fix problem (+6 month.)
My issue is +2 years unfix (unreal tournament 3 alt-tab bug)

Give yourself a favor, pay the extra money nVidia is asking from you and you'll all be happy gamers !

Every week is another disgruntled newbie who contributes nothing to the discussion but endless trolling.

Please GTFO, this kind of argument is too old for words.

I tried to contribute by reporting bugs to Amd and the response is well... no response and no fix.
If im lucky I get a fix after a couple of year....

And I did contribute here. I gave a suggestion to try a nVidia card to be more happier.

I have moth card, ATi 5870 and a GTX 295. I have to say that the GTX is superior in everything.
I even have support from nVidia on their forum. ManuelG is a Precious support guy there and when I report something to them even if its a rare bug, it will get fix!
    On amd forum, well nada.

If someone can give me clear advantage of Amd over nVidia , Im all ears.
Except price per performance ratio, i dont really see.

These drivers aren't good for me. Performance drop every where. Back to 11.2 beta work like magic for me.

I agree hes usefull but sometime he is a (word I cant say here).
I dont have the problem with ManuelG if he did not reproduce. He will try to reproduce on many systems. Thats what happen with SC2 issue with GTX 295.
Difference between him and ManuelG, is that ManuelG work for nVidia (I think) or have direct contact with their engineer.
I always pass by him for my problem and they always get resolved in less than 6 months.

Sorry if my last post sounded a bit overreacting.. It's just I cant believe they didn't address the cursor bug yet . (major and easily reproducible). And i'm not talking about the UT3 alt-tab bug they don't want to fix. (nVidia did work around it.)

You can just say he's a prick, but this is getting so off topic; I'll just leave it at that. =b
But the guy's been more mellow lately, though, up to the point where he actually tried to be helpful.

Why can't we get some information about the mouselag bug? Why are they not fixing it? It's a minor bug but not if you play starcraft2.

wow this driver is awesome for 6970 eyefinity!!!

    bfbc2 moh are much faster!

vantage 23840! i got my card for $360 and its close to 580 performance. 580 3 screen performance cost over $1000 lmao. Nvidia still cannot produce a single card multiscreen setup. AMD is way ahead of them when it comes to modern high resolution gaming

@ Wagnard -> Nvidia have some unfixed stuff for years too.. And driver issues with fermi are just pathetic and none fixed since launch..
Thanks to Nvidia incompetency after GT200 series, I did own HD5k then 6k and the only thing I regret now is to have bought a crappy beta-fermi card at first.

    Back on topic !

This driver is great on single 6900 card. Big performance jump overall and no issue so far after hours of silky smooth Dragon Age 2 @max+DX11+HDTextures. The laggy mouse is still there though but fixed with pointer shadow deactivated. I never had 99% GPU usage bug or other on any set and it's not different with this one.

The GPU runs a bit hotter (with overvoltage though) but strangely, VRMs seem to be less stressed.
    Better than 11.2 for now.

    Win7 x64 SP1

Seems that if they (AMD) can't reproduce it on their testbeds, they won't fix it.
Whether their testbeds actually try to emulate common system configurations is another discussion entirely.

For those experiencing issues with these, there's no realy basis for complaining just yet, it is a early preview driver (aka beta) afterall!

Present on 10.12 for me but when I uninstalled MSI Afterburner the issue vanished. I guess it's the same with 10.4 - "incompatible" with MSI Afterb.

So, 10.4 but no leaked 10.3? Just askin' :)
