11.11c no caps = no rage crossfire
    11.11c + 11.11 cap2 = no rage crossfire

    What on earth!!!???
Is crossfire working for anyone else with RAGE?

I still cannot play Rage because with any driver other than 11.8 I got 1 fps, but with 11.8 it flickers and got 20 fps. What crossfire are we talking about?

Although some people just install over the previous driver and have no problems, I would suggest you uninstall the old ones first, then reinstall the new ones. If using CAPS and are installing a new version, I would suggest to also uninstall the old CAPS before installing the new CAPS.

Wrong. Driver sweep can also remove the default windows drivers. If those go missing and you try to install a service pack it can cause it to completely fail each time as those files are required to be on disk for the service pack upgrade (part of the service pack upgrade upgrades the windows WDDM AMD vga drivers). I have had this happen to me, I went without service pack 2 for months before I decided to research the issue. It literally took me hours to track down the problem.

Totally agree. Unless I'm having major issues, I never use driver sweeper.

The AMD drivers do a good job of doing a clean install over previous version.
