Thankzzz Asder, downloading....................
Skyrim is still faster with CFX disabled. Nothing has changed.
And im not surprised since this is 8.911 driver version.
You get subpar CFX scaling with nov3 driver and enabling AFR in MVPUMode, which makes many indoor scenes faster, but in places with heavy particle effects and shaders (such as waterfalls) make your game much slower than single GPU rig.
Also system menu and player face textures start to flicker with forced CFX. That is common side effect.
Least we know why these are coming out only 2 weeks after the 11.10's, another driver is coming.
Rename the TESV.exe (or whatever its called) to Fallout3.exe for Xfire in Skyrim.
Something good is cooking, probably in the upcoming performance driver
MultiThreadedRendering11.exe MultiThreadedRendering11 Profile
Sure. I can easily max Skyrim on my single 5870 but I still get drops to 30fps in some areas.
you guys are lame we want better performance for bf3 and cf for skyrim and your willing to wait this long man i will stick to nvidia from now on using 2x6970 right now
Thanks, was looking for that, especially with all of these cat's lately.. :bang:
That appears to be because it's a POS console port. I see reports of Skyrim framerate drops random for everyone. Not just CFX or AMD or Nvidia. Just random crud where nothing much is happening and framerate drops.
so...anyone try it without CF on BF3? any better for map loading time? cannot try it til thursday...
What is this? A demo or benchmark?:nerd:
btw op this might not be the real 11.11 as they are not on the site yet they might be the drivers from oct
Woow, which file asder? THX for info
@Xzibit: Don't know, but DX 11 MultiThread rendering support isn't available in Catalyst drivers for now.
Amd 11.11 cap 1
It's from january :nerd:
This is online, but it's the same 11.10c4
and when is that from?
About the 11.11 cap1:
The dx11 multithread stuff i wrote earlier it came from this cap, looks like a profile to test the functionality, (i guess in combination with a certain driver 8.93 maybe? lets hope not) the cap have the versioning 8.93
Rubbish RAGE performance, as well as some flickering textures, though not as bad as the 11.10's... so have put the 11.10 preview2 OGL dll back in my RAGE dir yet again.
And just had my first Skyrim crash with these, after 15 hours gameplay with not one issue... can't say for sure it was caused by the driver, but it seems highly likely.
Seriously regretting my move, after twelve years with nv, to AMD I'm sorry to say... love the card hate the drivers :-(
amd suck amd sucks heil nvidia
