it works with other opengl applications aswell?

  4. Thanks, Asder!

Hopefully these truly fix "flickering NPCs in Rage". That's the only problem I have, other then that it's perfect.

never mind fixed that issue, strange issue i have now is CROSSFIRE does not work still in RAGE. only 1 card works

when you start the game up both cards are working at 880 clocks but when you hit the main menu one card drops to 2d clocks and the other 3d clocks.

also RAGE is still crashing for me when i load up a saved game. as soon as its loaded up and i go to move left or right CRASH. lol

So much for fixing flickering, now the game just crashes and doesn't start, nice going AMD. I did a clean install and now no matter what I do the game won't start. I'll try a complete wipe this time, getting rid of remnants as well.

RAGE is an appropriate name for the game, that's all it makes me feel towards AMD. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is my last AMD card, their drivers are beyond worthless.

I got a sandybridge laptop-quad core with a 6770 in it. Before installing these, I was at 30 fps, noow at 60 fps though I am just looking at the scene and haven't played much. Big difference!

Installed these with great hopes of finally being able to play and now the game just crashes after I try to load anything. RAGE.

At least it runs for you. Mine now crashes outright if I attempt to run it.

Game works very good with these drivers for me.
I did not install them though. just extracted atiogllxx (expand tool in cmd) and copied it to RAGE folder.
game works perfect 99percent of the times.
I also use custom cfg for higher quality textures which also reduces texture pop ins significantly

  13. Driver is working great!

"NPC Flickering" IS fixed on My end.

I done a complete uninstall/wipe of old drivers (always do). Driver Sweeper/Von Display Driver Keys Cleaner/CCleaner, plus removing left-over folders/reg entries manually.

Is this simply a driver consisting of both the BF3 and Rage fixes,
or have they made more optimisations for BF3 since 11.10 Preview 1?

Put the two files in place of the old driver ones in the game dir, things are good and there seems to be more detail like birds I don't remember seeing before.

Feels solid, was good before but seems better somehow now

bah all that driver mucking about naturally resulted in problems...i had to restore my pc with a ghost image that did not include my whoppong 400gb of steam games....id knew someone like carmack knows wether it would run, and he says its drivers well carmack what drivers did you use to test the game rage?? well have some of them. and now he says the next game we are coming back to pc...WTF was you doing anywhere near consoles anyway?on your own forums you are not even answering your members questions..id states the issues are with hardware and drivers...i thought pcs were universal every other game i have runs soooo nice . id wont see another penny from me! and you wonder why theres a word called torrent john. really deflated hope you all get it going ok. rant over :)
