AMD Catalyst 11.1 (Official WHQL) Download & Discussion

excuse me, can anybody give me a download link for my 6850? sorry its not that i'm lazy to search before, but i'm very confuse about catalyst 11 this and that, beside my English is not so good to comprehense the information earlier in this thread, so what is the best and most stable driver for my 6850?? please help me, thank you..

lol so nothing new at all, wonderfull

 

Glad i installed the jan 26 hotfix this afternoon as i knew these were gona be older.. after a clean install these second hotfix drivers are running peachy so far,no mouse lag,openGL probs fixed in Second Life.. i even fixed my 720p full screen problem..

These drivers are one big joke again. My screen is even shacking more with these drivers, then with the hotfix. They just shack like driver 10.12 / 10.11.

In their roadmap AMD said, they will fully intergrated the name AMD in their CCC version. Starting up the installer, it's one big ATi brandname mess on my screen. They can't even change their installers from ATi to AMD. :')

 

MLAA works fine doesn't it? Better than MSAA I think if my Nvidia cards are anything to go by.

 

why can't i find mobility version on official ati page?

 

I can´t install the 26jan hotfix. I always get a black screen during install and when i reboot windows it remains black. There is a signal cause the lamp on my monitor is not stand by. The 10.12 and 11.1 WHQL work flawlessly.

What could be the Problem?

 

Now I'm confused, everybody keeps saying that this are fake and those are fake and everything is fake, so can someone please link me the "real" mobility 11.1 hotfix for win7?

 

Sorry for the noob question but wrt the hotfix do I install the 11.1 driver first then the Hotfix? I've just gotten back into the ATI camp so i'm not up to speed with all this stuff. :stewpid:

 

I have the same issue and its caused by the dreaded overdrive/overclock bug. It somehow found its way back in to the 10.11's and it appears it will be staying for a while

 

should I install the 11.1a over the official 11.1 driver or should I install 11.1a as a stand alone ?

Some people do some dont - personal preference really - I just uninstall with the normal CCC Uninstaller and reinstall the same way
