Got the surface optimisation thingy tick box back, changed it to advanced mode. It now looks exactly the same as the last CCC, pretty much.

I wish I could get concrete info on what that surface optimisation tickbox actually does, is it meant to improve performance by degrading quality or something?

Why do they keep removing MLAA? It was introduced in 10.10 hotfix driver, yet still they dont include it in these WHQL sets? Anyone know why?

Because they are probably still optimizing it for HD5xxx use and it was only released for HD6xxx initially?

You're garbage. The link is correct, AMD just hasn't released them yet.

These drivers are one big joke. Same goes for the new CCC V2 look. How hard is it, to remove the ATi logos from the installer? Same goes for the Game.amd.com site. Example, new drivers are for days out, and their website hasn't been updated.

MLAA and other things are removed. And my screen is shaking, when starting up/shut down Windows and opening CCC. Do they even test their drivers?

Vantage scores have gone up, as did Unigine 2.1. 3dMark11 scores stayed exactly the same. It did run smoother though, but that could also be the 12% beer I'm drinking lol

Problems with 3dmark11 here. Goes to physics and stops. Screen goes blank and nothing happens.

Any 4870 X2 users try it out? Or we still have to use 10.5?

working fine on a 5770. Crysis ran well. I'll try BFBC2. Probably get slaughtered with my noob skills.

edit - BFBC2 is stable and smooth. Loading times are excellent but I have a blue flickering just before the graphics come back on. Looks like an overclock fail or a graphical glitch but then it goes away and the game runs as expected. The game just updated itself too. Took ages.

I tried 10.11 RC2 over weekend and it ran BC2 just as good as 10.4/10.5 did. Will try 10.12 Official next weekend.

My fps seems the same as with 10.5, but my loading is much much faster. I might be imagining it but there could be more stutter than 10.5 I havnt played all too much.

    edit in bc2 that is.
