So when you guys say this release is "the same" as the windows update though this is from ATI's site, right? Not just someone packaging up the windows update...

 

Yes, the windows update 10.11 is the same driver, as Microsoft will have just stuck it through when they got it from AMD

 

Well im going to give 10.10e a go as it is newer and I now know how to fix the pink problem

Cheers for the info on the diff drivers,think i'll try the 10.10e then (Im on 10.8 atm) cuz if they are the latest they may have fixed the crappy texture mess in my Second Life clouds.

I have some problems with this driver:
playing now in Gothic 3 and have some texture artefacts, with 10.10whql all is cool.
Have anyone this problem in other games?

 

I had 10e installed (ie morphological AA) but it caused a weird java conflict and i mean weird, anyhow this intern caused problems on certain websites such as the youtube user interface not working and other parts of websites not showing certain parts of the screen, but after a lengthy debug it turned out that 10.e wasn't whql and this was the problem, but now ive download 10.11 (whql, but no morphological AA) and everything's how it should be. WEIRD.

ps. i don't miss morphological AA i didn't think it was anything to write home about, it seemed to take the crispness out of games.

 

Aw..look this is the spyre we know. Dude ..cheer up. Maybe some are NEW to AMD? Maybe some had NV and now have AMD. And yeah duh how could someone not see that 10.10e is newer than the 10.11 that just came out.

You dont help AMD but craping on people all the time. Its just TEXT.. relax.

 

Will try when i get home! These are obviously older but they are WHQL and they fix crossfire issue ALT tabing out of the game so i will get these!:banana: AMD is on the ball son!! RED TEAM FOR LIFE!!

 

Has anyone tested FALLOUT NEW VEGAS Crossfire with these?

 

Don't brother installing this new set Official one keep the 10.10E to ATI release hotfix for 10.11

Why haven't they updated the AHCI driver for windows 7?They even pulled the 10.10 version from the site and just list AHCI 10.9 version?

 

There are 'real' 10.11 drivers over at AMD. And they finally fixed the powerplay problem on single monitor setups. You can overclock again and your clocks will drop like the 10.5 drivers

 

When I have instaled 10.10e, i have suport for GL 4.1, but in this "new" driver 10.11 is no longer available - only GL 4.0 (is visible in Everest under Graphic\OpenGL or in program GPU Caps Viewer 1.7.0)

 

All the CF issues I've mentioned numerous times in hotfix threads are still here, yet all the improvements from 10.10c and 10.10e are obviously gone. Just a reskin for Catalyst. Looks nice... and stupid, loading screen is finally without ATi logo while control center itself still has it :grin: Staying with 10.10WHQL+ 10.10 CAP2 so far...
