    I did the same verification like von comparing, looking inside .msi etc, also you can see its signed by ati on 18 november, if i though it was fake i will never have posted it

    No, they just do what is right, hiding a function that doesn't work perfect for 5xxx cards yet.

    Get in there. First set of drivers since 10.5's which allow me to run dx9 games without system lockup. Lets just hope this is a sign of things to come with the new 10.12.

    Without sounding too much like a noob, do i have to replace the inf before install ot just drop it in the install directory afterwards.

    but on lightmar 2007 my fps from 340 with 10.10e are now 430 with 8.79.6

    The infamous pink tinge issue has been fixed with these, confirmed changing saturation slider and no more pink.

    8.79.6 are the 1st I've been able to try on my new 6850.
    It's too bad early adapters of the 6800's have been stuck with 10.10e hotfix when newer ones have been available only to select users.
