well maybe because as of late amd has been leaving us vista users in the cold with these 10.10 beta releases...:bang:

will give it a try and report if it works under vista...

Since i installed these drivers i keep running into the problem that i lose CFX after installing modded drivers. Really no idea what i am doing wrong.

    Steps i made:
    - Uninstall drivers
    - (Safe mode) Driver Cleaner.net -> Ashampoo -> Eusing Free registry Cleaner
(Yeah i know. I wanne keep it clean.)
    - Back to normal install -> unpack drivers to c: -> add modded files -> install like usuall.

With every install now... Even normal 10.5, 10.9hot, 10.10c,10.10d i get an orange circle the was an error. but no error is shown in the log.

Really frustrating... 10.9 was working so nice..and now i broke it.

well they sure dont work under vista 64 and a forced installation is also imposible to perform even though i could get the 10.10a to install...
seems vista users will have to wait for 10.11 to try dx 10 and 11 mlaa

is this tweaked for 4xxx single series? I may try it if so..!

keep it up, community needs modded drivers, as ati is currently sucking hard in drivers lately, specially since they break stuff for older cards

Some asked for notebook version of the modded driver, here it is:
    (Download first the complete driver!)

    http://www.filefront.com/17468965/AMD_Catalyst_10.10d_Hotfix_Win7_Nov1_Von_modded_Notebook_inf.rar

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/lrsmnt
    http://www.filedropper.com/amdcatalyst1010dhotfixwin7nov1vonmoddednotebookinf

Copy and paste .inf to ***\AMD Catalyst official NoCAP\Packages\Drivers\Display

    1. Uninstall your old Catalyst driver from Control Panel. Reboot.

    2. Start setup in ***\AMD Catalyst official NoCAP

    3. Run circles around your enemies! :biggun:

I have no means (hardware) to check if they work, you are guinea-pigs on this one. I'm waiting community comments to know if this go through setup routine. If it work I'll create a easier install routine for future release.

Can you be more specific? If it's a "desktop-manager-something" when you restarted after install , I got it too, don't worry.

It was right after install of drivers was over. You can also see a notepad log of installation process if you click it.

    Anyone have suggestions?

Guessing that no driver is loading (even windows basic driver) and it's stuck?

I still don't understand what I could have done wrong.

Do I now need to run "standard_vga_backup.reg"

Sorry I am lost on what to do next.

    Thanks

woah guys it is very easy to install this, I cannot explain how can you have so many problems...

I am using them now, they seem stable, smooth, fine overclockers, havenĀ“t had any issue with any games, will try to do a though comparison soon and a vantage check anyways..

    thanks...!
