Some updates: Reduce AMD CCC.exe priority below normal to gain additional responsiveness and jerkiness reduction (CrossFireX) CCC.exe is a DPC hanger, cause of stuttering, you can check that with Sysinternals Process Monitor & DPC Latency Checker. To reduce process priority: right-click taskbar> Start Task Manager> Processes> right-click CCC.exe> Set Priority> Below Normal. The slower your computer the bigger the increase in responsiveness and stuttering reduction. Install Prio to save the applied changes and each time you start this process from now on, it will set the saved priority for it. You will not have to change the priority manually any more. You need CCC & MOM process to recover from the occasional CFX fps drops you may get. Remove AMD CCC.exe from automatic startup and/or kill process CCC.exe & MOM.exe before gaming (single card) If you are single card user you don't need CCC.exe while gaming, close that stuttering DPC latency bitch. Right-click taskbar> Start Task Manager > right-click CCC.exe> End Process> right-click MOM.exe> End Process. Install AnVir Task Manager to easily unclick CCC from startup. CCC can still be opened from right-click on desktop to change settings if needed, just kill the processes again after your changes. AMD CrossFireX notes If you are in a fullscreen game and switch (Alt-Tab) to an other process, minimize to Desktop or open Start Menu, CFX will be disabled (go down to single card mode). You have to quit game process and restart it to reinitialize full CFX usage in fullscreen. Activating Steam interface in a game (Shift-Tab) don't affect CFX. Windowed 3D = single card mode (CFX inactive).
