Is this a troll post? Are you serious? Are we talking about the game that accepts refunds again, because its SECOND launch was a disaster?

The only number that really matters is the ST. Nothing uses MT.

I did run the test a couple of times and each time i get slightly different results. Sometimes the amount of draw calls are higher with the 15.11 driver and sometimes they are lower. Really hard to tell if there are any improvements here.

Was hoping CFX would work out of the box. I'm not bashing AMD, I was just hoping I wouldn't read "flickering in crossfire" in the release notes, but there it is. Oh well...

Okay, we need more users to test. Mine could have been a one off I guess, I'll go re-do the test now to check again. Maybe I got excited too quickly lol

    EDIT:

Another comparison test does show that the earlier results still hold true for me at least. This is after using the computer for several hours too.

I just compared the wrong result with each other. The 15.10 drivers gave me more draw calls than the 15.11 drivers. Only one time the MT draw calls of the 15.11 driver were higher than the 15.10 driver.

On average there is a 2 procent decrease in the single thread test.

I edited my post above... Seems like I'm getting the opposite results as you are. I am seeing improvements.

Nothing conclusive yet I guess. We need more users to test.

I honestly think these drivers contain nothing more than what it states in the release notes.... I highly doubt they fixed driver overhead. Pretty sure these are the "oh crap COD is releasing" drivers, and nothing more. I imagine any other increases like driver overhead (which I doubt they can fix) are going to have to wait a few weeks for the crimson drivers.

    What "game"?

Nobody can blame on AMD this time.

Batman AK can only be considered a "game" in consoles.

The "thing" WB/RockSteady released as PC version is nowhere near to be a "game".

When compared against the previous drives these contain the following profiles in the .blob file.
(From Windows system32 call atiapffx.exe with "atiapfxx.exe -r -sys -s test.xml" and then in Windows syswow64 open test.xml in any text editor, I use Winmerge to compare against the previously dumped xml to see what has changed.)

    Assassins' Creed Syndicate (Listed twice)

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

    Fallout 4

    MadMax

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

    NBA 2K(16)

    Rainbow 6: Siege

Star Wars Battlefront (Also listed twice, separate Crossfire config perhaps?)

    Sword Coast Legends

Here are the maximum results i got run the test.
    15.10
    ST: 1.376.534
    MT: 1.231.335

    15.11
    ST: 1.339.000
    MT: 1.227.093

If there is one thing i learned with the overhead test, then it's the fact that it is totally unreliable. I get different results each time. They don't very much, but still.

The difference between the to drivers aren't schocking. I did only three test with the 15.10 driver. Two of the those tests got very close to the 15.11 driver. There isn't really a big difference here and those higher numbers could be just luck.

Uhm....why do you think these drivers came out today?

busting your balls btw, not everyone enjoys COD so you are forgiven.

Of course they did it for COD.

I only enjoyed maybe the first 10 CODs (maybe 3 in fact).

    LOL

But there are a lot of ppl waiting to read AGAIN that the best crossfire solution in case of problems with the crossfire profile is: DISABLE CROSSFIRE.

and i ran it again with AMD registry editor tweaks

here is firestrike with amd tweaks
    http://www.3dmark.com/fs/6406813
and i'll run draw call once more with the tweaks i used in the above firestrike then i'll post what i used.

7fps is the worst I've seen it go to, it usually drops to between 30-50fps, but it often gets worse in populated areas and it's only supercruise it drops.

I never thought to use the .dll, thanks for the suggestion.

What's your handle in the game?

Hello, returning member here, I have tried these drivers' version against the 15.9.1 beta ones and I am having 10+ fps increase of performance in World of Tanks, just to let you know. Cheers :)

    Nice!
    EDIT: Nevermind! http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=403389

Is there an AMD rep on this forum? (Like ManuelG for Nvidia?)
Maybe we can get the message through to AMD so they can stick it in their Omega/Crimson release.
