I'm on a fresh install of Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and first time trying to use drivers like this. My cousins notebook has a Intel HD Graphics and a Radeon Mobility HD 5650. It seems like the Intel drivers never install when I check Device Manager.

Do I need to have like the latest Intel drivers install first, and then install these?

its weird. LeeKMs 13.11 beta 9.2 mod driver fixed all of my BF4 problems like stuck on loading ang directx error also know as directx crash. try to clean install it again and clean your registry for left over files.

I'm not sure what you're saying here. I just installed Windows 8.1 Pro on her notebook. Then I installed the 7 non-driver windows update, plus the Defender update. Then I installed the latest Intel chipset drivers.

I then downloaded this, unpacked it, deleted the DotNet folder since Windows 8.1 already has the latest .NET, and ran the installer in Custom mode. Made sure to boot with the #7 Disable Driver whatever option. Also made sure to right click the setup.exe and give it Admin privelages when installing.

It gets half of the install correct, the AMD part is installed. But in Device Manager the Intel isn't installed at all, it's in there still as Microsoft Basic Display Driver.

What is DSE? Is that the option 7?

And the above is why I was wondering if first do I need to install the Intel drivers for graphics, and then run this installer?

EDIT: I did enable Hyper-V for the heck of it before installing Windows. Would that have something to do with it? I've been reading some other threads and in one of Dellon's it looks like Hyper-V shouldn't be used with his driver pack. Has anyone ran into Hyper-V causing problems with these?

I believe the latest driver to work for your AMd 4000 series card is 13.9whql legacy driver found in the thread below but it may be only Win vista/Win 7 compatible. You may need to ask LeeKM if he could make you an Intel fix version of that driver if you have problems with switchable gfx. Or just forget about it and get a better pc with better gfx:3eyes:.

Kind of a noob question, but these aren't any better than the mobility released by AMD if we do not have switchable graphics are they? I only have a ATI 5870M. Thanks

Thanks LeeKM for switching to Mega.co.nz, many hundreds of times faster.

Managed to update fine, shock horror, still the same "windows installer is not responding" thing though, I do not think it matters though.

LeeKM, can we have 9.4 Fix Drivers? Using the official AMD ones, switchable menu is not available in Catalyst (dynamic switching). Although the drivers work properly.

Everytime I update those damn Intel drivers my Windows disables Aero and says "the graphicscard does not support Aero". Yeah, sure.. That's why it worked before I updated. Any solution?

Not sure if LeekM still has it archived, but I have the next version [13.11 Beta v9.4]"AMD APU" driver; that's the one I'm using right now. You should always get LeekM's drivers as soon as they are released and back them up for future use. I reuploaded v9.4, so PM me if you want those links.
