AMD/ATI 6950/70 Video MKV bug. Flickering Black Screens ?

    Has anyone else noticed this bug.
    it happens after watching a .mkv where you can be watching a movie or series and the screen will hitch and go completely black for less that 1 second then resume and in that time the fan on your graphics card speeds up then goes back to normal.

    Seems like a issue thats only just cropped up, WHAT THE FKN HELL ARE ATI DOING.

    Issue does not happen a lot so the issue may go unmissed for quite a wile.

    Software issue most likely. Use UMPlayer

    Utterly amazing that people still think mkv is a video. It's a file container... ROFL.

    I know what the **** a .mkv container is dumb ass.
    but most people know mkv files are video files.

    either way your still a troll GTFO of this thread.

    What driver, playback software and decoder are you using? I'm using 11.4 RC3, MPC-HC and FFshow with no problems. I disabled most of the built in MPC-HC decoders so I can use FFshow....

    Could be the render your using.

    1080p (Those giant 8+gb bluray rips) are harsh on some players, like VLC - beefy hardware or no.
