I recently replace my old motherboard with the asus m2n sli deluxe board , I used all the existing part from my previous system so the only difference in the motherboard. With the old board the Proccessor ran about 30c at idle now I consistently run around 40 - 45c at idle with spikes to around 50c just running photoshop. I am new to AMD systems so I don't know what the norms are for AMD Processors. Any Help would be appreciated.

I'm having almost the same situation as OP. When I first build this machine about 2 weeks ago I was idling @ around 35C & maxing around 40ishC. Now with a reinstall of windows my temps have increased by 10 degrees on both ends. I don't understand it. And yes am using arctic silver 3
