What? $1000 for that oldie APU? Well, do not blame seller for taking advantage of you. And sorry to break it to you, but i7-2600 is not enough to get even 2/3rds of performance from RTX 2080 Ti. Or deliver proper frame pacing unless you run fps limiter to something around ~90fps. (Resulting in even less extracted performance from GPU.)

Bare minimum would be OC on i7-2600K. And even then, you would suffer from slow memory controller and PCIe 2.0 in every caching situation.
I know it very well, I had Fury X with 2500K @4.5GHz. DDR3 CL9 1600MHz, which was reasonable purchase in time Sandy been released.
And even with SATA3 equipped MB and separate SSDs for OS and games, it was getting pretty unpleasant in some newer games since 2016. Bad frame-pacing.

Move to Ryzen and suddenly everything is fine. Same would be moving to new intel's chips. Sandy was not bad Chip, and did not have low IPC. But for today's standard it does not really handle large volume of data well.

$150 dollars i72600 4 core 8 thread came with 4usb on front panel,2 dvd burners, 250 gb hhd, 4 gb ram, windows 10 pro key I upgrade this trash 860k with no key so I saved all my parts? workis for any amd ddr3 platfor users.
now im at $300 $150 for ti I payed less from newegg for ssc evga full cooler on half card. I can play all my game at 60 fps 1080 med mostly with 265w dell psu. 1k ryzen build I can play game 1080 high ultra 45 fps 420w. worth it no because rtx just drops.i basically got 15 min fps from ryzen 2600 scores 100 more points then i72600 but i72600 score 100 points then 860k for $150 an $1000. with no license rx570 is already at the bottom of charts. yeah i7 2600 is pci gen 2 only it fine for a 1050ti. gpu is more important then cpu by time I save money I could of got 8 core or more same price amd or used newer intel. amd cant compete with itself anymore it losses to ARM, intel, private party and even refurbs.

Seems like a solid choice for a cheap, purpose built PC. $55 seems pretty fair to me.
