Again, there is no need for the boot kit to come with a cooler since those who are seeking it would already have a cooler. There is absolutely no need for AMD to provide one and so they don't.

You need to watch those tutorials right now, not later - if you did, then you wouldn't be asking these kinds of questions. You seem to have some deep misconceptions about building PCs, and yet you act arrogant and snobbish about it when knowledgeable members try to help you.

People here game you plenty of advice, including acquiring a compatible CPU from Amazon and going to a retailer/shop and asking for a BIOS update (the boot kit option is also viable). What you are doing is outright rejecting those options and then saying that there are no other methods.

well to be fair I think my comment went a bit south too because I too long for HH's review. Either way I'm preordering a 3700X so I'll have mine paid for before the reviews come out.

I needed Top Navi AMD is going to sell this year sometimes last year. While I am not going to preorder 3900X, I plan to get one within 1st week it is available.
(I am already anxious about it since I think I have good enough BIOS flashed since yesterday.)

And I guess that since next Monday when we'll get all juicy details, I'll have this unpleasant feeling when you want something, but can't have it right now.

The refresh of the 3000 series is going to be on AM4 still, right? Zen2+ will be the last to support am4. Remember reading that somewhere.
If so i will try and wait for that, but if reviews will be too positive i might pull the trigger on zen2.

Been watching youtube (hardware reviews), that are saying that a B450 mb will not work properly with a new 3000 chip. Also a couple said the 3700x would only have a 12 to 15 percent over the 2700vx. I know its youtube reviews.

My ASRock B450M has an updated BIOS supporting 3k series so it's probably not true. As far as speed goes the 2700X isn't that far behind a 9900K so it's possible that is true but faster memory support gives the 3k series an edge even if they were the same speed clock for clock.

There will lots of "Will / Will not / Could / Could not / Might / Might not / Maybe" until actual release. Youtubers make money on building hype and spreading rumors. People love them!

A wiser decision would be read to reviews when it released, see performance difference and what motherboards (chipset) has better price performance to pair with.

just order a 9900k setup ...guaranteed to be faster/cheaper.

and hey the motherboard doesn't need an integrated fan to keep it cool.

    AMD's 4.7Ghz with 12% IPC uplift = Intel's 5.25Ghz! how that is low?

They need to save something for next CES/Computex :).
For now all the good chips are going for EPYC and new TR.
IMO the 16C TR will got 5Ghz as the lowest core count TR3.
