In case you didn't see it yet.
It's a repack and custom inf files so that lets you enable some hidden features + optimizations.
For more details, also a guide how to mod a driver read here:
    benchmark 3d

    To download the driver:
    link here

Edit: for some reason the benchmark3d links got changed, maybe a restrictions or something.

I don't understand your problem with this.

Optimizations intended for the 7x00 series as well as MLAA2.0 and adaptive/SSAA in dx10/11, also software disabled for previous generations.
Haven't tested yet, but looks promising going by the comments on the censored link (which google takes care of)

I'm guessing it is a bogus commercial site trying to scam money.

Guys, he is getting his information here:

    http://benchmark3d .com/amd-catalyst-modding-guide-and-performance-test/2

Delete the space between 3d and .com

You can't enable DX10/11 MSAA/SSAA for HD5/6 via inf editing.
Better performance? 1.5 fps more? Are you ****ing serious?

You card is still detected for what it really is, you can't fool ati drivers this way.
For a proper way to enable certain feature locked to new cards you must get yor hands inside the driver itself, not simply reg entries.

Looks like it's worth a shot, I'll try it out when I get a chance, thanks.

Edit: In the notes it says for V3 that it "Added atipdlxx.dll and atipdl64.dll to the package."

Excellent, those are the files necessary to get AfterBurner working, right? I don't remember the file names. :wanker:

I'll take your word for it, it's not like your some kind of noob. I'll try them anyways, but your probably right. Unless AMD actually activates DX10/11 MSAA/SSAA, my next upgrade will be Nvidia. This feature is not dependant on hardware, just drivers. Loyalty to existing customers goes a long way. Nvidia has had this capability for a few generations now, and backports new features to previous generations, hence the sometimes rabid loyalty their customers have.

Even Nvidia's adaptive vsync is backwards compatible.

According to some people the drivers allow Dx10/dx11 SSAA for older cards and someone with HD 6970s has it working. That's one feature I have been waiting for and if above is true then there is nothing stopping it from being implemented already and perhaps it will be officialy included in later drivers.

Just got to try these out now as it does sound a little too good to be true.
