oh really the u should know that not all reviewers out there are using titan or titan z in their reviews,

and the question arises will the new titan outperform the 295x

    Ahh,not all reviewers,only 90% of them.U can`t compare a dual gpu to a single gpu.
Even Hilbert is using a Titan in any GPU review.

oh i apologize did i stray from the rumor topic.

and that 90 percent is not even close and does not make any sense. that card is now obsolete and it is outperformed by the 780, 780ti,290 and the 290x i will not gonna mention the 980. so why use titan at all anymore for comparison

titan z would be more logical

Funny as people who knows no facts are randomly attacking others over their "sure" assumptions.

Card benchmarked here, is likely 380X or very low clocked 390X to ensure testing without leaking full performance.
This for sure does not need water cooling therefore I expect 390X to have considerably higher performance and power draw.

And: "Dear maxwell, stop alerting me and others that you are killer architecture as your performance per watt is 10% worse than AMD's sample shown here."

Unless nV hijacked AMD's name in here and we see 980Ti... j/k
But that would give me a lot of laugh rereading this thread.

You are right,90% is not even close,it`s more like 99% of the reviewers.I dunno why they use Titan in their tests,u can ask Hilbert,he is using a Titan, even a Titan Z.

This hype/speculative thread is already comparing thin air to actually existing market products so why not. I could also say that I predict that card will come bundled with a mini nuclear reactor to power the card. It's actually not wrong, until a 390x product comes to exist debunking that statement.

I think the moderators should do a better job in these forums. Every thread has become a NV vs AMD troll fest.

Going back to the rumour, it would be great if this card was mid range so NV would lower some prices and more people can afford those nice cards.

If the thread involves AMD at all, it tends to become a troll fest. Unfortunately, the mods are all "volunteers" and have other responsibilities that interfere with their moderator duties. There's also not very many of them, so they've got their hands full. Hilbert gives us all a good bit of freedom to post our own views and opinions and the moderators try to keep each thread clean without resulting to censorship. Sadly, the only way to keep every thread clean is for those that actually have no interest in the topic, to stay out of the thread. Unfortunately, there's too many people that feel the need to bash products/manufacturers they don't like (even if it's illogical).

At least our mods don't behave like the mods over at THG. Their mods troll more than the users do....and then threaten to ban members that call the mods out for trolling.

I`m not trolling u or someone else,I`m just replying to u posts, thats all.
I know what I`m speaking it`s just the fact that you don`t like my answers.Like someone said this is a "hype/speculative thread" and I can compare that card on the chart with any card out there.

You are right, you are free to compare it to anything.
But if you look at what matters for high/top GPUs, this GPU is better than maxwell in 980.
Not because it has bit higher performance, but because it has better performance per watt.
And that means if this architecture competes with maxwell, it will win in any TDP range.
So, let there be that famous Titan 2 with 300W, this architecture at 300W with stock water cooling will do better.

Only thing which may prove fatal for this "Captain Jack" is transistor count and that is why I wanted to know it since my 1st post here.
Because maxwell is pretty impressive considering only 5B transistors used.
And "Captain Jack" may hit transistor count limit of what can GloFo make before it hits TDP limit.

But then I would probably try to make 2 half GPUs and put them on one iterposer as this tech is already matured enough to do so.

There is no better architectuur than Maxwell yet. First it must be proven (so far only rumors it can be real ore fake), second it must be on the market (2015 q2)

This can be also a Hoax for keeping people away form Nvidia.
