Chrome has been driving me crazy for the last couple weeks with numerous freezes and hard crashes. At first I thought it may have been something hardware related but all my temps are good, clean install of Windows10, and I'm able to play games for hours with no problems at all. I disabled hardware acceleration in the settings and that seemed to work for about an hour, but now I just got another crash while watching a youtube video.

I'm open to any suggestions at this point.

Thanks for all the recommendations, but I think I've found a winner with Vivaldi. Great performance and customization and most importantly no crashes. Seriously though what the heck happened to Chrome?

Noone can replace chrome. Especially with Android mobiles. Everything is one. Fix your system do not abandon the superior choice..

I've been using Vivaldi for the last few months without any issues. I actually prefer it over Chrome these days.

I've been with Mozilla for a long time and have been quite happy with it. This is on pc btw, I practically don't browse the web on my phone, just using various apps. However, I was intrigued by Brave Browser recently - I heard something that you can earn cryptocurrencies for keeping ads enabled or something like that. Anyone tried it out? Any feedback?

Edge Chromium is a great alternative. It uses less RAM then Chrome so far, but has all the functionalities I need.
