Only watched the pilot but found it a missed opportunity which was highly disappointing. The dialogue was trying hard to be sort of edgy and cool but ended up being pretty cliched and boring. Joel Kinnaman was good but his sassy female cop partner was just terrible due to the actress being totally unnatural in the role ( this might iron itself out as the series goes on ).

The pilot basically left me feeling like it was all style and no substance and as a sci-fi nut, it totally pisses me off but I might watch a few more episodes to see if the show picks up a bit.

"Almost Human" did not even get over few initial episodes.
"Humans" was quite better, but became boring within 1st season.

Here, I'll know soon. But 1st look is quite promising.
(Cast, camera work, CGI, story flow.)

Weird... I always know from 1st check if it is going to be good.

This Show is Not Messing Around. Use of foreshadowing... Characters have complex past (by plot design). This is not just another Black/White/Gray show. (Nobody is clean, and everyone important is as dirty as one can get.)

I'm never watching any series again that hasn't been completed. I'm sick and tired of every series I start watching being canceled without any conclusion to it.

    Nope. Never again.

Dear producers: when you make a new TV series, f-ing conclude it at the end of the season. If there's another season, then make it a sequel to the original season. Like movies do.

    watched the first episode.
Mixed feeling: great CGI, crappy lines, especially the cop chick, the switch from Mexican Spanish to English was horrendous at best; the plot is mildly interesting, somehow I saw this before, but somehow different.
Too much to find out, too little I saw, remains to see the entire series to decide
But all in all, stirred my curiosity.

That's the whole point, TV series are not movies they are...SERIES... intended to follow a story arc...it's in the name. End of season cliff hangers etc etc... A completed series....is a... movie...:p

I can say, that this is TV show which got closest to Neuromancer book. Still quite far, but very good direction.

Just finished the first season.Started a bit mild (for me at least) but I was hooked and finished the season with a cathartic feeling.
Lots of unknowns about the second season, but I pleased to hear that we are in for a good second season.
    Spoiler alert
The most badass AI to date. So sad to see Poe reduced to nanodust. Man, his lines were brilliant.

I agree, it's been happening with TV series for a long time. I think for any series that they are cancelling without unresolved storylines, they should at least make say, a 6 episode extension to finish off the story. It needs to be more than just an episode or two otherwise it will feel too rushed. Obviously if a show is disgustingly failing this probably isn't feasible, but for the most part most of the times the intention to continue or cancel a show is based around the producers and companies expectations of whether the next seasons show can be successful for the entirety of say, the ~22 episode standard 'season' or even 13 episodes. At least with 6 episodes the risk is minimised, and you reduce the risk of disenchantising people from watching further shows.

People waiting for the conclusion of a show for the risk of it not being completed is a huge risk for producers simply because their decision to continue a show is based on production cost (profit risk) vs viewership. If ratings are not there for a show simply because people are waiting for the conclusion thereof, a show may be prematurely cancelled.
