Surprised it's not a mini-fridge to be honest.

The i in Ti on the last picture looks a bit crooked. Bad photoshop job?
I would be surprised if NVIDIA would launch the RTX 4090TI so early on.

These cards will need to ship with an AIO. I don't think anyone wants that extreme amount of heat in their case.

I'd rather buy an AIO for GPU than CPU tbh.

Not if they plan to introduce a 4090 TI Black Edition sometime down the line....

As for the heatsink, if for real, it looks huge. But I don't care, as I'll probably watercool anyway.

Why would anybody even need one? There isnt anything out there the 30 series cant handle.

Its mostly about raytracing and 4k resolution. You'd need one if you want to play Cyberpunk maxed out or some upcoming games. We still dont know how UE5 games will run.

  10. I'm actually going to choose my next GPU simply by power consumption limits. Weird times...

300w max for me and even that is most likely too much.

I wonder if these cards are going to come with a adjustable wooden dowel to help support the weight of the card against the bottom of the case. That heat sink is quite honestly ludacris. Anyone with a mid size case or smaller will have to run deltas to get enough air flow to have even palatable case temps. Guess there will be a run on larger cases leading up to the launch. I feel sorry for users' that live in countries were electricity prices are high; this card may be out of reach to those users'. A desktop with a 12th Gen Intel and a 4080/90 series card will be pushing 1400w or more at full load. At least here in the US that is pushing the limit of per outlet limits (1450w). I see low sales of the upper tiers and booming sales at the 4070 and lower tiers. I will stick with my 3090 till I see how many of the 4080/90 series catch fire or throttle to useless levels before I commit to one. Guess we will see a new wave of 1400w and larger PSUs hitting the market with usage warning stickers and labels warning that using them may exceed safe usage limits at the wall outlet.

Yes, I doubt this is one. With 16128 cores, this implies 126 SMs if they stay with 128 cores per SM. I suspect a 4090ti will have 128 SMs for 16384 cores total. Those would be binned chips having two more SMs functional and enabled.

Or you simply put power limit to 66% and still be under 300W :D it will surely be more efficient than RTX 30XX series, but at what price...
