All Folders Have Become 'Read Only'

    Get a registry called

    "take ownership"

    Right click the folder, then click take ownership, then try changing to not read only.

    ( WOW old thread!!!!!, dont even remember when i posted this stuff lol )

    You can reset the files and folders to default permission via Windows Explorer, can take some time since you need to click trough some pages.
    Or use the command line to reset your DACL's.

    ownership and permissions are fine, just like the dozens of articles found on the net.

    While it may seem fine, that thing has saved me when i thought the permissions where fine many times.

    The folders may be read-only, but that doesn't mean the files are...
