I have mine currently set to 400 core and 630 memory. Idles at around 50 degrees and load around 60-65 degrees. I don't want to push the memory much further because it doesn't have ramsinks or anything, anyone think I should try and get the core up to GT speeds (500)? Any opinions welcome

I've got asus 6600 watercooled and have added ramsinks...it runs at 500/670 without artifacting. Any attempt over 500 on the gpu fails.

to reach the 500MhZ for the core, try editing your bios (with nibitor) to reach higher voltages (1.4v for GT version)

yeah I was pretty happy with my memory clock, it brought my memory bandwidth over 10gbs lol

Oh and albatross I don't want to edit its bios or anything like that, coz if my card explodes I'll just send it back for a replacement and act stupid and say I haven't overclocked it :p

With a voltmod if you know what your doing it might be possible to get a 6600 up to 6600gt speeds.

Must Kill ATi has his core up to 500, maybe the bios vcore's are the same for 6600 and 6600 GT, but as far as the memory goes it will never come close to what the GT will do. two diff types completely. but hey 600+ is nothing to sneeze at ! nice OC

right now I am at 350/550 with no problems. I have a hot apartment I am living in so I don't want to push it till winter. Does your card have a temp censor? I don't think mine does.

He has very good Benchmarks, so he might have good Overclocks.

Yeah mine has a temp sensor, try enabling coolbits and going to the nvidia control panel and it should have a temperature tab. I checked it after a nice BF2 session and it was 63 degrees.

Btw kain, how do u play games with an fx 5200?

    :( Al people say that.
Actually im not playing games anymore until i buy a new video card.
Some days ago, i played battle for middle erath and need for speed Underground 2 which can be played with considerable frame rates at 1024x768, but i bought a new LCD monitor wich has a 1280x1024 native resolution and im waiting for my birthday to buy a 6600GT.
Maybe a 6800GT but i have to wait 1 month and 2 days.
