sound like a hater before you even play the game and have you watched any of the new trailers?might want to before you go around saying the graphics are terrible when they arnt

 

My pants are bursting with excitement about this game (yes, you read that right). It comes out on the 19th of Feb which is 5 days after my birthday. Hooray for sorta-late birthday gift!

But seriously. I can't wait.

 

i wont prepurchase this..i will wait for review..and i wont prepurchase bioshock 2 too..the only game deserves my PREPURCHASE is MASS EFFECT 2..but indeed cant wait for Avp

 

I got amazing news today, in the form of survival mode being playable with only one player, which is needed for me as my pathetic DL limit means that I actual have to limit how much time I spend on the net ( even for regular browsing ) towards the end of each month, so I don't get fees

Fingers crossed for full on bots somewhere down the line

what about COOP play? how it works? can we play campaign coop?

Why would you want co-op?, that would completely ruin the game, what are the aliens going to do, give voice commands "flank them guuuuyz!!", same with the predator, that dude flies solo, and i'm sure there are other human players in the human campaign, there is really no need for co-op.

There is multiplayer though if that's what you mean, and you can have death match, team teathmatch ( either by choosing 'factions' or by having a mix and match, as in an alien, a human and a predator all on the same team )

Then there is the survival mode which is a multiplayer mode that does have co-op

( as it's just you and your team mates verses loads of aliens )

anyway, so basically COOP mode is SURVIVAL mode..hmm..looks sht but lets see..

playing as MARINE with friends as COOP versus alien and predator sounds more awesome to me but thats me.

 

but they have to change all the levels etc, as in both the aliens and the predator are about stealth, so it wouldn't really work with two people playing...

 

Hmm well true..we will play for all RACEs. dont know level design but why not 2 alien(u and ur friend) do the missions? or two predators ? i dont know level designs but probably ur right..it wont work :/..hard to comment..iam expecting something so SHARP/specific.

 

you don't need to worry though, the multiplayer will be huge and you'll get all your co-op needs there.

 

Aliens vs. Predator 99 on PC seems to be their one and only stand out title. Monolith on the other hand, who did AVP2, has a huge list of great games under their belt. Suppose we shall wait and see, but from looking at Rebellions games, I can't say I have any sort of good expectations for this one.

The steam pre-order is a good deal. AVP and Universe at war: earth assault.

The dx11 pics look great. I'm sure the vids we've seen from console are running this at 30fps (please correct if I'm wrong). Which means if we can get anywhere near 60fps it'll be awesome. I like the tunnel size they chose, I like the way the aliens look and attack. If it's a decent length for each story it'll be cool.

I would love to see an "Aliens" single-player mod.
