Alien: Isolation Announced

Looking good but just a slight problem....the Nostromo was destroyed at the end of alien and Amanda was about 11 yrs old at the time which would mean that Riply will have been in hyper sleep for about 4 yrs...drifting around the galaxy in the escape pod, im not nit picking but this is some thing people will pick up on.

 

The story takes place 15 years after the Alien... which means Amanda is 26, so this is ok.

Nostromo was indeed destoyed. The other ship found "black box" from Nostromo... and looks like not only the box...

 

Looks good, but I hope they won't f*ck it up like Colonial Marines.

Relieved to see Gearbox isnt behind this !

 

I have an attachment to the Aliens franchise, so im hoping this will be good, but there are some doubts of course.

 

Oh crap, i thought this wasn't from SEGA. I know different devs are working on this new game, but still i don't want SEGA to be the publisher. Every game with that name on it (SEGA) was a total crap in the last decade.
They should stick to gathering coins, rings, stars and flowers kind of games...kids games. 90's are long gone, stick to wii please, don't ruin sucha franchise like Alien one more time.

Indeed. Maybe that's what need to actually make this become a good game, something different.

 

LoL, SEGA still exists, damn they havent released any decent game in years how the F are they still there

Doubt this will be any good considering Sega's past record.

 

I am excited I am reminded of the the old Aliens: A Comic Book Adventure game there was only one alien in that one too altest from what i remember of the game. The creators of the alien, where even in that game

Not everything sega does is bad, Binary Domain was great, it was also the only fps game i liked in very long time

 

Sega didn't **** up colonial marines that was totally on gearbox. And imo sega has been ok recently. While total war games come out always broken I think that is more or less cause of the studio

 

It could go either way as Gearbox did a great job on Borderlands 2 so its a 50/50 once again.

Gearbox did an ok job with borderlands 2 for sure. That is the reason aliens colonial marines was such a mess.

And omg CA developing that, will be interesting how that will pan out... CA makes good yet really broken games.

 

Personally I don't care if it's good or not; being virtually all your first person shooters are the same thing. Get a gun and shoot someone and run around a map...yawns
