    AIO pump connection

    Hello all,

I just bought the Asus Z270f mobo and corsair h100i v2 cpu cooler.
There are 4 headers labelled -
    CPU FAN 1
    CPU FAN OPT
    H AMP FAN
    AIO PUMP

Now where should I connect the h100i pump to..???
I know that it should go into the cpu fan header but they have given a dedicated all in one pump header also so I am confused now..

I'd blindly go wit the AIO pump to be honest. Since they all seem to have PWM fan hearders (which is somewhat weird isn't it?), it shouldn't make much of a difference, except when you maybe have some weird BIOS warning for the "fan RPM" if you put the pump on a fan connecter (which can be manually set to ignore and thus get rid of it).

ok thanks for the info, one thing sorted out.
Now should I connect the radiator fans to CPU fan headers on the mobo or to the splitter cable from the pump..??

I would connect it to the pump not mainboard (says the H100i's manual). Never installed an AIO though, but I guess it works best that way (if you want to use the Corsair Link software too).
