Saw some users having issues with the kerneld.x64 included with aida64 after 2019, took a shot at triggering it and have found a reliable pagefault kernel exception triggers after 3 days up time on Windows 10 systems, on 2 machines with vastly different hardware configurations.

The other users reporting it have a mix of hardware running windows 10 ranging from second gen intel core i, to ryzen 5xxx.

If anyone feels like attempting it, it occurs when the aida64driver service stops, which usually occurs when the main exe closes, but some systems need it stopped manually, via "sc.exe stop aida64driver" in elevated powershell or command prompt.

I haven't managed to reproduce it on windows 7, and i don't believe it occurs on 11 either.

i have some inkling that certain driver updates involving the xbox gaming platform are involved, with xvdd.sys or gameflt.sys being possible culprits since they regularly update.

You're a tad confused, the kerneld driver is loaded on application start no matter how you deploy aida64, its unloaded under normal circumstances when aida64 is shutdown (and service deleted)

Heres the mixed list of affected builds

    Msi Z270 Tomahawk - i5-7600K - Asus GTX 1050TI.
    MSI B150 Gaming M3 I7 6700 GTX 770
    Ryzen 9 5900X, ROG STRIX B550-XE GAMING WIFI, DDR4 32GB, 6900XT
    i7-9700K RTX 2080Ti Z390 chipset MB
    i3 10105f, Gigabyte B560M DS3H V2, GT 1030
    H97m-e ASUS whit an i5 4460 and rx 480

And 2 of mine on 10
    Quosmio DX730. i5 2450, GT 540, 16GB. Single SSD.
Almost an untouched install of windows on it, it only runs some dedicated servers. RST 12.9.4.1000

    Rampage IV Extreme, 1680v2, GTX 1060, 32GB. RSTe 6.3.0.1022, iaNVME 5.3.0.1005, Samsung nvme 3.3.0.2003
