proggie is called "rthdribl"
I think ill get the Ultra if I have the money when im ready to buy a graphics card. The way I see it the more money I spend now then the longer it will be until I have to upgrade.
Who makes the best 6800 Ultra?
imho, the bfg cards are the best, I assume there ultras would be as good as there 6800 vanilla...
Sounds like your card was overclocked too far, a stable overclock runs as good as stock for all intents and purposes.
You have water cooling right?
Yes, watercooled. That 34c load is my ideal bench temps with fans and stuff. This pic I just took is with normal room temp, the highest Coolbits allowed me to set right now. This was after playing Halo for an hour or so too. You can see my load temp hits 40 or so here @497/1.28
BFG is best I just got one.
12867 in 3DMark03. Using Forceware 71.40
How is the stock cooling on the Asus' 6800 GT 256 ddr3?
I have PNY but really wanted BFG because of the true lifetime warranty. My PNY 6800 Ultra has treated me good so far and no complaints. Warranty is good as long as product is still in production.
BFG is the bomb! Nice overclocks and if you send them a dead card. They send you a good one back with no hassle! I sent a dead 5900nu (with a flashed bios) and recieved a 5900 ultra! BFG forever has my opinion and seeing how my BFG 5900 ultra is still #1 on the 5900u/AthlonXp 3Dmark03 orb. That tells you something.
I'd have to go with eVGA...
the 2D quality is a little better than BFG...I found the BFG cards to have a little fuzzier 2D quality, other than that their the same
6800GT is what you show go for....
no significant performance difference vs Ultra
