AfterBurner 4.4 and 1080 Ti Core Voltage

    Beyond tweaking it manually I have yet to see the core voltage adjustable in afterburner before 4.4.. Has anyone seen any better gains from using +100 core voltage.. Before my card was hitting around 1957mhz without any additional core voltage so am a little curious if anyone has seen any gains from this update.

    This is general voltage control for NVIDIA cards.
    Your VGA clock according to your application. voltage increase maybe can help keep high clock sometime, but it's definitely.

    Considering 1957mhz is VERY low, yes you will see large gains increasing voltage. You should be clocking anywhere from 2062-2100MHz+ core and around 5700MHz memory.

    Click on the monitoring graphs and hit CTRL + F to open up the features for pascal cards using GPU Boost 3.0 and adjust in curve mode.

    Unless you use liquid metal on your shunt resistors to eliminate power throttling, you will down clock quite a bit. The graphs show the downclock as if you saved the profile at a lower MHz while it's throttling, so keep that in mind when making adjustments and trying to find your max OC. Work in steps of 13MHz. Work with the MHz on the 1.093v setting, that is the max voltage the card will give, and will step down when throttling. I recommend reducing the core clock by 13MHz for each voltage step, then making a large drop of -26MHz or -39MHz after 3 or 4 steps, this encourages it to not throttle so hard. The graph will snap to values you did not set and mess around doing stuff you don't want, but if you fiddle with it enough you'll understand how to work around it's bullsh!t and get your max OC out of the card.

    Don't be scared about using the full 1.093v your card can use, it's 100% safe and won't degrade your card or anything like that. As for temps, get a fan blowing across it and make sure your case airflow makes sense. Replace the stock thermal paste with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, and make a custom fan curve. You'll get a higher overclock if you run it cooler, there's a non-trival difference in overclock between 78c and 62c.
