Forgot to say that one safehouse I traveled to had an extreme problem with lots of light. It was like bloom and contrast had suddenly been cranked 100 times the norm as if walking in a photo negative effect all black and white. Couldn't see anything so uninstalled v.06.

I know you said fixes are being put in .07, but I've not seen anyone mention this problem going back as far as page 50, so I thought I'd mention it. I think it was one of the west safehouses somewhere.

The "high" (not ultra) version of this mod will be available?

Calibration is bad also it's to sharp @ night it will crush

people shouldn't overdo it with sweetfx it can be very well very destructive

you better optimize for a non sweetfx output result and leave sweetfx to everyone himself.

though this means you shouldn't use sweetfx when you tuning any of the effects ;)

this here shows that your levels are gliding into TV Gama Scale with it's current 0.7 tuning not good for PC Monitor output.

And it doesn't make sense to compensate this again in a 2nd pass with Sweetfx if the Engine can do it in the first place itself and has a real HDR Rendering Sweetfx isn't HDR it's LDR :)

    Nice work Jim :)

The folder you have to put in patch_unpack wd / win_data64?
And the old xml file you have to delete it and leave create a new one and modify it ultra?

Is there a way to completely disable the DOF effect? I just can't stand any kind of static background DOF. :(

If not...how do I just enable the dynamic headlight shadows?

    Thanks in advance.

0.7 looks great! Now I just need a sweetfx that compliments the E3 look

Don't change anything about the colors or sharpness, leave it for SweetFX.

I would focus on the things SweetFX can't change.

I don't know why but DOF is starting annoy me now... lol is it possible to just disable it in-game? or will that change everything from the xml file?

No dont leave the colors to sweetfx only manipulate the sharpness and other stuff but don't let it @ the colors the Engines HDR internaly is more efficient with that and you don't lose data :)

This is also not logic you should always only focus on things the Engine itself can't do either not @ all or not efficient enough :)

To many people overuse Sweetfx and slowly it becomes more counterproductive as we enter more advanced stages of rendering it becomes more destructive.

    This is amazing, excellent work.
I enjoy the game quite a bit and since graphics are an exceptionally important aspect of a video game to me, this for me is a very important mod. I can't thank you enough for releasing this.

Now I understand this is all just work in progress now, so please don't take this the wrong way but I prefer the 0.6 version over 0.7 a lot more.
0.7 does fix the DoF but at the same time it seems to mess everything else up quite a bit.

    - I believe the bloom radius/size was perfect in 0.6, IMO 0.7 takes it over the top and things just don't look right or natural
    - 0.7 seemed to have increased the level of fog, changed the color and it's again rather jarring, 0.6 had the perfect balance in color, saturation and contrast in all aspects.
    - I think it's best to leave the bloom and colors the way they were in 0.6, people often make the mistake of getting carried away when they work with special effects like this and things quickly turn ugly, it's best to never over exaggerate visual effects such as this and keep them in moderation.

If we could get 0.6 with the Depth of Field of 0.7 it'd be perfect.

Now something about the lighting, I understand that is worked on but I thought I'd get into it a tad.
When I first got the game I immediately noticed just how much better and more sophisticated the lighting of the characters was during cutscenes, these cutscenes are realtime sure but the character lighting is simply fantastic where as in-game the player character and all other characters are very poorly lit.
If we could get the cutscene like lighting in-game it would be fantastic.

Again thanks for releasing this and keeping us up to date

So with this sweetfx we can all adjust that stuff manually as we please?
I used sweetfx for skyrim once, it kinda messed things up for me and I never touched it since.

What do i need to know about it and how do I use it with Watch Dogs or other games for that matter

    thanks
