Just tried it out, looks so good and I don't really lose any performance as well. Can't wait to see future versions! :D

Tested the headlight shadows and I didn't experience any fps drops than before. Still, sometimes it may flicker or go off if there are many cars in the scene. I'll add the lightvolume to the train and the headlight shadows if its possible. I'll come back with screenshots if I succeed

Also theworse do you think you will be able to get that E3 bokeh back ?

The 4 biggest differences from E3 (if you don't count gameplay, AI and other things) IMO where :

    Bloom
    Bokeh
    Shadows
And the rain pouring off the roofs and stuff (don't understand why that was removed lol)

Rude? The guy has been banned for faking, made a new account, chased me to work with me, i accepted, he made his own thread with all my findings and said he did that in 18 hours. Then he says all is his findings.

Thats all, im just pointing his attitude.

And its cool to have another guy testing and improving Watch Dogs, i personally dont care who do that, but if the guy wants to take credit from me and say he did everything in 18 hours, its just not cool.

    Cheers!

Do you have any actual proof that he did this?

Here we go again, I just want to state, that this fire was started by Vaas.

Anyway, Kad you did a great job, people saying otherwise are lying to themselves, but it is also true that TheWorse did an amazing job on his own. There is nothing simple in what he did with the volumetric light and the dynamics shadows.

Just keep the good work, but don't go on this "me, me, me road". Eventually other people might use your discoveries to improve the game even more without giving you any credits. Technically what you guys are doing is tweaking, not modding, so you don't own those tweaks.

Of course it doesn't stop you from being respectful toward each other.

Now these are nice and actual noticeable additions to the game graphics, good work. Can't wait to test the real time shadows. I'm wondering if is possible to enable the pom effect that they removed too. I guess this one is impossible, but would be great if there was a way to make vehicles and people have realtime reflections on the puddles and wet surfaces like in infamous.

I wasn't respectul to him anyways.

About the shadows I think the headlights corresponds to all, car, bikes, trucks, even the train. But I'll test to be sure.

Not so many features or things to enable with this anyway. If I could get the dof dynamic like e3 2012 or the fog, it would be amazing, but well, I'll keep searching time to time to be informed about a wrapper for the game or something.

@TheWorse, I did unpack your file and I want to merge with that of the modified Kad. Done, but the bloom can't work. Any idea?

Edit: Forget. Well done for the first test. :)

Whether it will be possible to make realistic reflexions?

I'm going to ask politely that people stop quoting kadzait24 as I did not block him just to see it in other posts.

OT @ TheWorse good work so far can't wait to see what the finished product looks like. Can you get the shadows from the headlamps working as the do IRL like with the double light source shadow?

Yeah dynamics reflexions on windows is something that could be quite cool. Though I don't think it's really possible since I never saw anything like that in the game or even in the old demos.

TheWorse, are you gonna release a version of what you have unlocked so far? That would be cool, even if it's not perfect. Then we can give you some feedback.
