I've been fiddling around a bit and it looks like there are two DoF settings, one is 'dynamic' and changes based on where you're looking and the other is 'static' and just blurs out the distance (or up really close if you set it that way)

you can also change the speed of the focus for the dynamic one so it snaps in/out quicker

this has promise for a potential tool down the line so people can change the values themselves :)

keep up the good work TheWorse

I imagine I could tolerate the dynamic DoF if it adjusted faster.
Right now it seems a bit slow. Definitely gonna play around with it.

yeah it being slow to adjust was annoying me too so I had to look into it further and ended up fixing it for myself

I'm not going to release it as I'll wait for TheWorse, we don't need anymore patches floating around

I really like the DoF and bloom settings, I don't think they're out of place at all. I hope TheWorse doesn't change it too much or manages to keep separate profiles up.

Thank you all for your comments :)

I have already fixed the dof values almost like a day a go, And I'll place two versions as I said before.

One version is a higher bokeh and closer distance suitable for screenshots

Another version is more suitable for gameplay

I've changed the dof values of most cameras. Only cars remaining.

I think I got the right values for the headlight shadows so I hope now its working better. It's not going to work properly, I think never will because The max num of shadowmaps in scene are limited.

And no, I don't think ubisoft patch will ruin the modification.

It is good because with this DOF i can lower LOD settings ... and FPS increase is amazing.

i myself change some value for the dof but still a bit buggy :/

good work by the way :)

They might disable seamless online integration usage though and i think it would be even fair to everyone todo that only accepting Ubisoft hashes for patch.fat/dat and online Gameplay Mode.

As long as they don't stop this for the Singleplayer Part i guess no one would have a problem with this decision :)

I see so he's scanning for Engine Realtime state changes and manipulates them on the fly, interesting use cases for Cheat Engine manipulating the Engines Realtime behavior :)

Should also make it possible to change the DOF strength and other Shader params on the Fly as well if Tod and Camera manipulation works already :)

could you start putting version numbers or the date on your releases please so we can keep track a bit better? right now it isn't so bad but in future if you release more it could be hard to keep track of what's going on

I'm probably in the minority but I loved your very first modification (E3 bloom only) with very strong bloom.
