the settings are replaced in patch not .xml, i'd like to use my .xml settings too
as i'm testing them for some time to see what works better for me...
To change the FOV people can use flawless widescreen app.

yes that's what i'am saying, his XML are just his standard in game settings that he finds are best for his configuration, use them or do not it's up to you. But there is no point having to make seperate zip files...

And using your own ingame settings does not render the patch inoperable. (well at the moment anyway) but the XML still exists even with the patch.

TheWorse , there is article of you in news of gaming. Take a look on gamegurumania site. Google it. I cant to post link, I am new.

    Article, and have video..

Watch Dogs E3 Bloom (E3 Shaders WIP)
Kadzait24's mod - in its current state improves reflections, performance, and shadows. It also improves the stuttering side effects that a lot of PC gamers have been facing. In addition, TheWorse has figured out a way to enable the E3 2012 Bloom effect that was missing from the final version. In addition, the modder is working on getting more fog on the ambient through the same shaders. Those interested can download Kadzait24's mod from here and TheWorse's Bloom mod from here.

    Your README says:

    documents/my games/watch_dogs/gamerprofile.xml

    Don't you mean:

    documents/my games/watch_dogs/PROFILE_FOLDER/gamerprofile.xml

    ?

EDIT: Nevermind. Fixed it by using a fresh xml generated by the game. Looks better now too. Can see the fog really well <3

Thank you for this. But at certain times of the day when the texture setting is put on ultra, my graphics spaz out and the rendering goes all colorful with blacks, reds, yellows and artifacts. Only during certain times of the day though.. Quite odd. I've got a 3GB card (780 overclocked) So yeah.. Not sure if your mod is using more texture memory or something. Looks great though when it doesn't spaz out hehe!

Is there any way to increase shadow draw distance? It is extremely low right now.

Similar to grimmycakes im having some issues with the bloom effect overdosing. It happened when i hacked a camera during a crime prevention mission if that helps.

Also the cars headlights are not emitting any lights would i need to add an XML file?. Shadows are excellent though.

What happened with Skyrim modding is hardly to happen with any other Game so fast again it's pretty much a phenomenon to me about this community Bethesda buildup it's huge (worldwide) it's friendly, creative and intelligent nothing i saw before also Bethesda made it a core part of themselves opening pretty much all the content and Editor capabilities of the Engine and giving it's Fans access and a huge number of tools for the Engine only the GTA (Rage Engine) community maybe comes close, well see how far the Watch_Dogs (Disrupt) community will grow or if Ubisoft isn't gonna like what's happening ;)

The Disrupt Engine has no real Mod Layer @ all and the System is pretty simple (there is no NPC Interaction layer @ all) compared to Skyrims Creation Engine Mod layer (that thing is complex as hell from it's core RPG Open World logic)
