    Error here.

    My game path is D:\UPLAY GAMES\Watch_Dogs I put that in the WDTConfig:
    GAME_PATH=D:\UPLAY GAMES\Watch_Dogs

    I also disabled the security for starting unsafe programs and stuff in the internet options.

    Gives me the error 'specified path format not supported'. Atleast if I translate it; i'm dutch and here it is 'ERROR - De opgegeven pad indeling wordt niet ondersteund'.

    Does it mean my game cannot me located on my external hdd?

    With Windows 8.1 x64, I only managed using SweetFx Configurator or RadeonPro with Boulotaur2024's Injector that have x64 dlls.

    lol, the only stuttering i see is you saying that you are going to upload this mod of yours over and over.. so what is your next excuse, "i have to take a piss" oh wait you used that one already!

    so please either post something beneficial or GTFO! there are enough trolls in this thread already.

    @TheWorse
    any progress report on v0.9?

    The post literally right before yours has two different mirrors of the mod.

    You guys should really just ignore idiocy like this. It's attention seeking drivel. As for an update, it'll be ready when it's ready. I'd rather let him take his time and thoroughly test everything. Also, people seem to forget that modders do this for themselves and offer their results to others. Lets appreciate that fact and stop asking for more.

    Divided_Unity and Plissken thank you. I checked unblock on the Gibbed pack. I'm still not good to go just yet!

    I have navigated to the WDT Config file as instructed to make sure the path is going to my directory with the game in it.

    When I close the black window that isn't doing anything I get the error: "Error: Illegal characters in path". I assume this means because I haven't typed the path in correctly? I basically followed the instructions but changed the path to where my game is installed: GAME_PATH=C:|Program Files(x86)|Uplay|UbisoftGameLauncher|games|Watch_Dogs.

    I've also tried having a space between Ubisoft Game Launcher as the folder is and I still get the same error after closing the window and not waiting for it to do anything.
    I know there has to be some user error so I apologize. I appreciate the help!

    Should I just allow the black window to sit there doing nothing? I'm used to these particular windows opening up and then a bunch of text flying through them or something like that. This one just sits there doin nothing. Should I just let it go and for how long?

    Did you copy and paste that exactly as you tried to use it? As I can see illegal characters from here! Should be:

    C:\Games\Watch_Dogs

    for example which is mine

    Or for you in the default folder (never a good idea to put games in Program files TBH)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Watch_Dogs

    It just presents problems some times. Particularly if you're modding games. I suggest a Games directory or something.

    Download not correct

    THEWORSE: Your supposed "new" download link for the 0.8 mod just links to your SweetFX preset and "injector". Can you please fix that? Right now I only can download the older 0.8 without the texture fix.

    If your computer crashes it's best to have all your large programs on a different drive/partition so you don't have to redownload 100's of GB's of data.

    From my own experience Windows has a hard time granting appropriate permissions to files/folders within certain folders (eg C:\Windows C:\Program Files & C:\Program Files (x86) ) often when you try to install there it won't be fully installed because the installer couldn't get permission (even if you disable UAC and run installers as admin you can still get problems), with Windows 7 and 8 I found that I had to use a handy little context menu addition "take ownership" so that I actually owned a file/folder on my hard drive in my PC!

    http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...ership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/

    And thus if you don't install to those folders you don't generally get such problems ;)

    Did you even attempt to read the posts in the last couple of pages of this thread? Ya know where the exact same issue was raised a number of times...
