You kinda went off on a tangent there lol

Isn't 0.8 meant to be coming out with MalDO's stutter fix though, which contains the offending textures?

Normally yes, but TheWorse will probably have to think about this.
    It can be publish without.

I'd rather have Maldo's fix with it, but if not using this make us able to play the game with multi enabled, then I'd make without it. TheWorse work allow to improve a lot performances even without Maldo's textures. DOF and colorgrading for example allow to reduce LOD and other things without noticeable loss of details.

The Chopper bike also doesn't make use of dynamic headlight shadows, I think the cause must be the fact that the two bikes have only one headlight, contrary to all other vehicles in the game that have two (including other bikes). Could it be fixed ?

All headlights should project shadows now. I did my best to fix the flickering of the shadows, after so much test now should be perfect.

Hi the worse great work, can anyone tell me will there be links to the lastest versions on here when released. they seem hard to come by now. anyone explain why that is? or are they all still kickin about? My stutter had stopped mostly with the worse 0.7 but since messing with updat1.3 then pastin 0.7 ontop of patch files stutters back. will I need fresh install. p.s im new to forum so be gentle.
    Thanks.

Any ETA on the 0.8 update? After the disappointing ubi update which didn't bring any performance or visual improvements I am itching for a reason to play some more Watch Dogs.

I second this, any chance you could post the SweetFX preset? Looks really nice, can't wait for 0.8 :D

Maldo and TheWorse should get in touch with Sunset, his stuttering fix seems pretty legit, it's heavy though (3GB), no clue why it's that heavy.

    Weird method to eliminate stuttering

I just want to share an odd method that removed stuttering for me suggested by one user in the ubisoft forum (it makes no sense at all but it really worked)

-Create a custom resolution for downsampling in the nvidia control panel (like 2560*1600 if you have 16:10 or 2560*1440 for 16:9) (if you don't know how to do that search on the web a guide for downsampling)

    -Open Watch Dogs

-Put All to maximum and the higher res (for me 2560*1600 (i've got a 16:10 monitor)

    -Start Game

-Just walk around/drive a bit with stuttering and lag

-Open options and put resolution to normal one (for me 1920*1200)

    -Profit

-Another Thing that helped me a bit is to set the thread priority of Watch_Dogs.exe to RealTime on the task manager.

I tried everything in the past and nothing worked.
With this method with my gpu (not really the latest one),i can play with textures on high without stuttering.
It works even with ultra textures but my gpu just don't handle that,i've got no stuttering but an avg fps of 10-15 fps xD.
This method makes no sense (like ubisoft patch support :) ) but for me worked.I hope will work for other people, just want to share that.
Sorry for my bad english : P.
Anyway i'm currently using the game with ubisoft "patch" and no mods + sweetfx (i'm waiting for 0.8 : P, Thank you TheWorse for everything you are doing)

Well personally I don't care as I have 500Mbit internet, but there's plenty out there with far less and if they download a 1gb file, and it's broken and have to keep trying that's a bit much to ask of them ;)

Another 4 screenshots with the mod. Keep in mind in this screenshots rain almost ended so that's why you don't see too much of it. I hope you enjoy it.

This screenshots are using my new sweetfx preset that i'll upload later.
