    I want to 2 RGB sticks from Corsair, they're 2x 8GB at 3000mhz and CL15, my current 8GB kit is 2666mhz C16.
Would this work or do i need to get rid of the 8GB kit?

My motherboard has latest firmware, it's the Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 board.

Mixing RAM is usually not recommended. Mixing RAM of different speeds is even worse. They will be binned differently. Your best option is to just sell the 8GB kit.

I have 2 sets of Corsair Vengence LPX running in my system. 1 is 2400 and the other is 2133. I can run both at 2133 fine but need loser timings for the slower kit to run at 2400.

Also 24gb of ram sound wrong :p As said selling may be the better idea and getting another 16gb kit of the RGB flavour if you need more ram. They may well work fine together if you run them at 2666.
