ACUTE HELP bent pin Motherboard no post!!

Hello
I have a bent pint on my motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero
Can the cause a Q-code 00 ?
No boot, neither Bios or Windows. Fans work, pump work, ram memory lights up.

Is there a good solution to repair a bent pin. If it is a bent pin

 

yeah use needle nose tweezers

that 1 pin doesnt look like it would be touching the pad on the cpu

just push it softly back to the right position and hopefully should be ok

its unlucky that that pin is for a vital part of the cpu and mobo start up

 

I've seen that before with new MB's. Should be easy to fix. Just be careful.

 

Come again Passus? Is there a mapping for various areas of the CPU socket and functions?
OR CPU socket layout?

Just google the socket name with pin layout.

 

All you need to do is line up the pin(s) that were facing a different way to the correct way.

 

Yeah mate, just google it as calculus suggested

 

I bent a pin once and used a needle and a magnifying glass to correct its position, lucky it worked.

 

that took me while to see. if i even seeing it

 

lol, Asus is still selling boards with bent pints right out of the box.
