wonder what happens if a fan made project continues working in secret after the C&D

its like square and killing any chrono trigger related project

dont really understand the C&D for sequels/remakes of old games, its not as if they receive sales from the old games, even if they did re-release them or make a sequel sometime down the line, some fan made internet project wouldn't impact sales in the slightest, especially since they won't be the same game

What the ****, closure of forums too? I'd hate myself if Activision was my employer :|

I'm reminded specifically of Fortress Forever, a long-in-coming, fan-made, non-profit TF sequel that finally got released only to be immediately followed by TF2.

My impression that TF2 hasn't suffered a bit for any of it.

Yes, if Activision wants to be c's with us, we can show them how much of a c we can be.

    Don't buy their products!
