Activision revealed the future of the Call of Duty franchise. As the rumors suggested with a singular Doritos blurb , the new game in the series will be Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War.... Activision reveals Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War: Watch the first trailer
I keep saying I won't by the next COD, and damit I always do. And damit a cold war story line has me intrigued, say want you want about the MP but the single player game has always been fun and very cinematic if not a little short.
The original Black Ops was the last COD game I've played, and I've played them all before that but only for the single player. Around the same time I got into BF, and multi player wise, I never looked back. I guess I just can't see myself paying the price just for the very short campaigns. However, given the pathetic state BF franchise is in right now, I might give this one a go and finally get back into COD.
They HAVE to address this in the next game. Throwing out 35-40GB patches which do minimal changes to the client is simply not OK. Wanted to install the game the other day but seeing that it is a whopping 210GB download I felt reluctant to do so, that's one fifth of my NVMe.
This series died for me a long time ago. I hate cinematic games, why do they have to try and copy console exclusives? The best COD was the first 5 games, then it all went to poop.
First and last cod game i played was cod 1 ... After that i could not get excited about cod... Bioshock 1 and 2 where the last fps games i really touched if i remember and they where not pure fps maybe that's why i did i guess.
Hehe you quoted me before i add a bit more and fix my phone sausage finger typing ....they might be excellent games i am just having a "meh" reaction when i hear fps ..... 10+ years ago they where my favourite genre.
I know the feeling, somehow the latest COD reignited some old passion of mine, for a time at least. It brought something to the table regarding the gunplay at least.
thanks fellow guru. Actually I liked the trailer, but as well could have been a movie teaser. (I always liked COD for the SP storytelling.)
