These two monitors are in my radar. I'm looking for a freesync monitor and these two caught my eyes. I can`t decide because the acer has got a 1ms response time while the asus has a 4ms. But the asus has a IPS panel while the acer is a TN. I also prefer the acer's design.

If you want, even recommend me another one the features I've got in mind are:

    -1440p
    -144hz
    -Freesync
    -1ms response time
    -IPS

There is no IPS with 1ms.

Here you can see XG270HU have 4.3ms average and MG279Q have 6.5ms average.
Best TN (PG278Q) have 2.9ms average.

You should read these 2 at least and check whatever is better for you, im sure they both are good:

Also dont only look at ms, there is other things too you should look for than tiiiiny bit more or less blur on movement, like colors, input lag(asus have less), viewing angles, features, stand, bezels, something.

Good choice. There are guides on the Internet that can help you widen the FreeSync range to 35-110Hz or 57-144Hz or such. Experiment and find out what the limits of your monitor are. 57-144Hz would allow you a pretty silky FreeSync experience since the maximum refresh rate is > 2.5x higher than the minimum refresh rate, which would allow LFC (Low Framerate Compensation) to kick in at FPS < 57 and still have FreeSync working below that range (albeit with potentially worse results than having the range go down that low).

Yeah, i also saw that you can mod the driver and unlock the 90hz cap when FreeSync is on so that was just awesome.

Yep! It is. Wondering why it was capped at 90Hz in the first place...
