Hello Every One I an preparing to buy HIS 4670 IceQ. Tell me every thing about that card. 1.Gaming prefomance 2.Driver setting every thing U like to share with me.
i owned asus ver. of this card. running at 750/2000 which is factory default. my pros bout this card: - i scored 'bout 9500+ 3dmarks 06 on 1024x768 on my system on the left. - it beats 8600gts performance on overall. - it has dx10.1 - it could run crysis on high setting @1024x768 'bout 40 fps or more - crossfire ready and also it cost just below $80, which is very nice for this mainstream card ^^ HIS version of this card (especially IceQ series) has been pre-overclock from factory default so it should have a better performance. -cheers^^
This is exactly the same card I have in rig. As for driver performance-I m using the 8.10 since the 8.11 were a bit glitchy for me. & as xcalibur+ posted-it gives me about 35-45FPS constant in Crysis Warhead at 1280x1024res (all settings high) The GPU doesn't run that hot with the IceQ cooler (idles about35-40C & stressed with Furmark takes it up 65C) Crossfire Ready Card,DX-10.1 support,320 stream processors,55nm GPU size + it doesn't require any additional pci-e power & draws all its power from the mobo which is a good point if ur PSU is not that good But I recommend looking at the 9600GT from nVIDIA as it beats the HD 4670 & is a very good card & about the same price point The only bad thing about the HD 4670 is the 128bit bandwidth which kinda cripples it but overall A VERY GOOD BUDGET CARD FOR GAMING
yap, catalyst 8.11 does glitchy, I runs farcry 2 with better framerates using catalyst 8.10. everything maxxed out, 1440x900 with 4aa = 30 fps+ this was a very balanced price to performance card.. i really liked it!
There u go-TWO happy campers using the HD4670 Go for it mate, u wont regret it The HD 4670 IceQ was a upgrade from my Radeon X700 PRO 256MB & all I have to say is-JUST GO FOR IT, even better buy 2 of em for CrossFireX & it would be even better:grad:
The 4670 is a nice piece but its no upgrade vs. a 3870. So not any of the 4000 series does beat the older series. The first one who is capable of is the 4830 and above.
yeah, too bad my mobo doesn't support crossfirex, even i have enough $$ to buy another 4670.. but it's time to make a wise choice, dollars are rocketing in my homeland xD
