    Hello ALL!
I wanted to ask this question as I was on line training and will be storing a lot of folders, and the guy said that they will slow down the computer?

    Any help, and THANK YOU!

That used to be the case, I don't think it still holds up on modern systems, but I guess how many are we talking ;)

It doesn't matter where you store the folders, Desktop, Downloads, Documents. Unless you have a very bad graphics card in your PC which can't render all of those folders on your desktop or a very slow Hard Disk Drive then you should be fine.
