alright so I bought a new BFG 7950GT http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143071 ...running the newest drivers from nvidia website (forceware 93.71??) And I ran a few 3dmark06 tests...my results are the following (ran 3 tests and got the highest of the 3) Stock E6300 and stock 7950GT = 3DMark Score 5232 3DMarks SM 2.0 Score 2241 Marks SM 3.0 Score 2186 Marks CPU Score 1599 Marks OC E6300 to 3.220ghz and OC 7950GT to 637 core and 1632 memory = 3DMark Score 6243 3DMarks SM 2.0 Score 2482 Marks SM 3.0 Score 2443 Marks CPU Score 2712 Marks does this sound about right? I was expecting a little higher...but I guess this isn't far off I guess...also, I'm having a little problem running the CS:S video stress test...on 1680x1050 resolution and max everything, I get a 59FPS score on the video stress test...and when I OC both my vid card and CPU, I only score 1 FPS higher? Is there something I'm missing? I spoke to another guy who has a 7900GT and he said he scored like 100+ with max everything on his CS:S test...any kind of input would be greatly appreciated! oh another thing...for those who you who play battlefield 1942 and battlefield 2, what resolution are you running? I own both games and I can't seem to pick a higher resolution than 1280x960 in battlefield 1942...and 1280x1024 in battlefield 2....is there a way to unlock higher resolutions? I'm using the latest patches from EA for both games...this seems awfully low resolution for a graphics card like 7950GT...thanks in advanced!
